Hard Water Deposits Cleaning

by

I frequently get the following question: We have hard water in our area. Would you tell me how to remove the lime deposit that has built up inside our toilet bowls?

Answer: Weak acids are usually very effective in removing the lime deposits left by hard water in your tiles, faucets, toilet bowls or household appliances like coffee makers.

While you can buy a special product like Dezcal at almost any supermarket, You can also use vinegar, which you most likely already have. Vinegar is considered a weak acid which does not pose any health risk and doesn't require any special handling instructions, as opposed to other common acids. Vinegar or any other weak acid can dissolve the lime, just give it enough time. Hope this helps
